Excuse me for my absence! I’m blaming it on the weather. This was not my V-Day outfit, but I did purchase this sweater on V-Day, so it’s my V-Day sweater. Make sense? I wore this little ensemble the very next day. In my mind, after Valentine’s Day comes and goes, it’s time to start transitioning into Spring. Keep in mind-it’s in the 40’s in North Louisiana today. Nevertheless, this is my mind set. So, how do I incorporate pastels while it’s still cold if I don’t have a pastel sweater for every day of the week? I layer! As of late, my favorite thing to do is put on one of these Old Navy button downs with a thin (or thick) sweater on top. It keeps you warm without getting heat stroke warm. I especially love wearing something like this in my classroom. When it’s 40 degrees outside, it’s 100 degrees in my classroom and when it’s 100 degrees outside, it’s 40 degrees in my classroom. So, you see why something not too heavy and not too warm is my go to.
