As a beauty product fanatic my makeup routine changes quite a bit. However, recently I’ve paired my products down in order to simplify my everyday routine. I’m really loving everything that I’ve been using over the past few months. I hope you enjoy my everyday makeup routine and products and maybe find something new to include in yours!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Step 1: Before applying primer I apply First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream & a lavender lip balm
Step 2: My newly discovered favorite primer is Too Faced Hangover RX. I apply it in my t-zone.
Step 3: I then apply Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation + concealer to my t-zone. I use the Tarte kabuki brush first then I run back over everything to “press” the foundation into my skin with the Tarte sponge.
Step 4: For brows I’ve been loving Benefit’s Ka-Brow. I fill in the outer end of my brows since they’ve become pretty sparse. I lightly run over the inner brow.
Step 5: I apply Prism by MAC all over the cheeks up to the hair line to give my face a wash of color and follow with Peach Pink by Elizabeth Mott. I then apply Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm with my finger tips to my cheeks, down the bridge of my nose, and cupid’s bow.
Step 6: Using my Urban Decay palette, I put a light champagne color on my brow bone and tear duct area and a matte taupe color in the crease. I’ve greatly simplified my eye shadow routine. For everyday makeup, I avoid an all over wash of color on the lid. When I do opt for a more “done-up” look, I put a gold shadow all of the lid and add a bit of a shimmery brown to the crease and lower lash line.
I did a blog post and review on this palette. You can see it here along with the names of the shadows.
Step 7: I use two different products to create my perfect winged liner. I use the L’Oreal Liner Intense liquid liner to lay down the color and the NYX felt tip liner to get really close to the tear duct and to create the wing. I finish the eyes with Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
